Composer and conductor Hans Zender (1936-2019) arranged the Schubert’s beloved vocal series “Winterreise” for tenor and orchestra. His version succeeds in connecting the past with the present. Zender streches the music and points out even the most peculiar details, while still retaining the enchantment of Schubert’s original vision.

At the Organ Night and Aria Festival the Zender’s praised version is performed by tenor Tuomas Katajala, The Lohja City Orchestra and conductor Jukka Untamala.
