The arches of the Espoo Cathedral echo the recital of Ukrainian baritone Andrei Kymach and the pianist Hans-Otto Ehrström. Andrei Kymach is the winner of the 2019 Cardiff BBC Singer of the World -competition. The renowned newspaper The Guardian estimated that Kymach’s aristocratic presence of his performance and the integrity of his musical and dramatic characterisation made a great impression on Jury. Kymach’s talent as an opera singer is acknowledged all around the world.

Hans-Otto Ehrström is a versatile and respected pianist in both the lied and opera repertoire. He has collaborated with numerous top Finnish and foreign singers both in Finland and in several European countries. Ehrström has also held several opera master’s courses in Finland and around the world and is a respected répétiteur.
